⛰️ Travel & Accommodations ⛰️

Getting There

If you're flying in, Boston is going to be your best bet for options, but there are some other northern New England airports to consider:

  • ✈️ Boston, MA (BOS) ~ 2.5 hours
  • ✈️ Manchester, NH (MHT) ~ 2 hours
  • ✈️ Portland, ME (PWM - don't fly to Oregon!!) ~ 2 hours
  • ✈️ Burlington, VT (BTV) ~ 2 hours

On Saturday there will be a shuttle from the main hotel building to the bottom of the mountain, and then a gondola ride up to the venue. Please reach out to Maribeth and/or James if you think the gondola ride will be an issue for you.

Accommodations

We have a hotel block at the Omni Mount Washington hotel, which is part of the complex for our venue. You can use the link, group code, or phone number below to take advantage of our room block.

Omni Mount Washington

Group Code: 101626DUNDONJOH

Reservations: (603) 278-8406

There are various other options in the area - if you're considering staying elsewhere please make sure you have a safe and reliable way back to your lodgings after the wedding as we only plan on providing transportation to/from the Omni.

🏔️ Activities 🏔️

We love the White Mountains and we hope you get some time to explore! Here are some ideas if you need inspiration!!

🚗 Drives

From Bretton Woods you can do a big scenic loop consisting of 302, 112 (the Kancamagus Highway), 93 and 3. Any part of this would be gorgeous!

🥾 Hikes

If you want a big hike, Mount Eisenhower via Edmands Path is one of Maribeth's all time favorites.

If you want a smaller hike, consider Mount Willard, Arethusa and/or Ripley Falls, or North and Middle Sugarloaf.

Not that you need me to say, but there are SO MANY MORE!!!

🏘️ Towns

If cute towns are more your vibe, these are our favorites:

Bethlehem: Eat at Cold Mountain Cafe or Reklis Brewery, check out the amazingly curated mountain vintage store Lonesome Woods, and get some ice cream at Super Secret!

Littleton: Walk Main Street and stop in Lahouts to browse outdoor gear, NH League of Craftsman for local arts, Chutters for every candy you could want, and Crumb Bum for coffee and baked goods.
